Linking to PlayNC - Guild Wars Forums

I would like to link my Guild Wars Account to PlayNC for security purposes. Would doing this make my account more secure or less secure? If it makes it more secure, in order to link my Guild Wars Account to PlayNC I have to create a PlayNC Account, correct? Now after the account is created, do I apply all my Guild Wars Access Keys to the account? Nightfall, Prophecies, and Factions? or do I just have to apply one of them?

From what I understand, linking to PlayNC actually makes your GW account *LESS* secure. Some people have had their GW accounts hacked through PlayNC. This was a while ago, I'm honestly not sure if they've fixed the security issues. But you do have to have it linked in order to make any online GW store purchases.

Mine is linked and I have not had any issues thus far. But if security is the only reason you're asking, I'd advise you not link them.

Ok, i find, personally, that it is more secure...

However, the easiest way to link is to create your plaync account first, goto www.plaync.com and create an account and make a note of the details for it

now go through the Guild Wars ingame store and it will askk you to link to your plaync account, to which you use your plaync username and password and then you should be done

On a security note, i change my plaync email and password and my guild wars password every 6 months or so and i feel fairly secure, especially as my old email address on my GW login has been dead coming upto three years now and if anyone tries to change my GW password, the change password email will goto my current playNC email address instead
